MRS Roadshow 2018 - Edinburgh

A great way to find out what is planned for MRS and the sector in 2018, hear the latest advice on GDPR and put questions to the MRS senior team.

Free for MRS individual members and employees of MRS Accredited Company Partners.

The MRS team are on the road in 2018, presenting at our Roadshow events around the UK. These informal events are a great way to find out what is planned for MRS and the sector, hear the latest advice on GDPR as well as ask the senior team here at MRS any questions!

With the aid of the usual refreshments we will be covering:

• Inclusion and Diversity report: We recently commissioned a study to determine the current state of diversity in the sector. The survey found that discrimination persists around gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, age, health and beliefs.
• GDPR and data protection: With GDPR scheduled to be in force by 25 May 2018, this is the last opportunity to hear from our experts on the implications for our  sector.
• Dynamic procurement: The Crown Commercial Service, which is responsible for the new pan-government research procurement arrangements, has opted for the creation of a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS).
• Data analytics: Data analytics has grown by 350% in four years. In response to this we are launching a range of services and training for the analytics sector this year.
• New benefits for 2018: We’ve enhanced individual Membership with a new resources, content and webinars. We’re also launching the MRS Associate Network for employees of Accredited Company Partners.
