The MRSpride team is happy to announce a series of new roundtable discussion events specifically for those who work in small agencies

Join one of these sessions to get your voice heard and network with other LGBTQ+ people and allies from similar-sized organisations. Sessions will explore the way that queer people in small agencies are perceived, as well as the ways smaller agencies can influence change within the sector. The conversations will be informal, but serious issues will be discussed. There will be icebreakers!

Anyone working for an agency employing between 15 and 50 people, including allies, are welcome to come along. There are sessions happening throughout 2023 in a mixture of online and offline formats, as below:

Thursday 27 April, 13.00-14.30
Equality, Diversity & Inclusion: Best practice guidelines review

ONLINE via Zoom

Thursday 22 June, 13.00-15.00
Pride and mental health

IN-PERSON @ MRS, London

Thursday 24 August, 13.00-14.30
Awareness, education, and next steps

ONLINE via Zoom

Thursday 23 November, 13.00-15.00
Pathways to inclusive leadership

IN-PERSON @ MRS, London

Email networking@mrs.org.uk to book your place, stating the name of the agency your work for and the number of staff employed.

Space at these sessions is extremely limited to allow all attendees to have time to fully contribute, so initially they are limited to one attendee per agency. Additional attendees can join a waiting list in case space allows closer to the event date.

These sessions will specifically address the unique advantages and challenges for those working in small agencies. If they are successful, MRSpride may consider future sessions for those working in different types of organisations.
