Integrity in practice – why different professional standards bring us together not apart

Free session hosted by the Market Research Society with the Office for Statistics Regulation and Better Statistics.

Come and hear how the UKSA’s Code of Practice for Statistics complements MRS’s Code of Conduct. And the benefit is mutual. Researchers and government analysts can each enhance their practice by developing an understanding of both Codes. Five speakers will provide their insights on how professional standards are important for business effectiveness and serving society.

Including a panel session with:
Debrah Harding - Managing Director, MRS
Ed Humpherson - Director General, OSR
Fiona Dawe - Chief Social Researcher Office, National Statistics (ONS)
Ben Humberstone - Head of Population Studies, Verian
Phyllis Macfarlane - representing Better Statistics

Refreshments will be served before and after the event (available from 3pm). The session will provide a great opportunity to network and hear from some excellent speakers.

It will be a hybrid session so those unable to travel can listen to the session online (3.30-4.45pm). Please select the in-person or virtual item upon booking.
