MRS AGM

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE SIXTY-THIRD ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING of the MRS Members of The Market Research Society (“the Society”) will take place at MRS offices, The Old Trading House, 15 Northburgh Street, London, EC1V 0JR at 6pm on Thursday 4 October

The business of the meeting will be as follows:

1. to receive the Annual Report of the Main Board of the Society for the year ended 31 March 2018;
2. to receive the Annual Accounts of the Society for the year 2017–2018, including the Society’s Balance Sheet as at 31 March 2018 and the Income and Expenditure Account for the year to that date as set out in the Annual Report;
3. to consider and, if thought fit, to pass the following resolutions as ordinary resolutions;
   
   3.1.   to adopt the recommendation of the Main Board to reappoint the auditors to hold office from the conclusion of this meeting until the conclusion of the next meeting at which accounts are laid before MRS; and
   
   3.2.   to authorise the MRS Main Board to fix the auditor’s remuneration.
   
   
4. to transact any other business which may be transacted at the Annual General Meeting.
