We are a solution focused fieldwork partner with a can-do attitude. We add value to your project at every stage from the initial enquiry to completion with each project having a dedicated project manager. We have the capacity to manage multiple projects whilst retaining a small agency level of care and commitment.
We recruit for all online and face to face methodologies by using traditional, modern and emerging techniques. We work with recruiters all over the UK and manage an ever-increasing in-house panel. We are experts in creating screeners and are passionate about standards and accreditation. Our recruiters are regularly trained and we have a thorough participant validation, verification and confirmation process.
Now entering our 29th year of providing fieldwork expertise, we are delighted Criteria successfully transitioned to becoming employee-owned in 2024!

'I cannot praise the Criteria team enough. I have worked with them for over a decade and found their approach and skills to be exceptional. They understand fieldwork including the most challenging projects, with complex quotas or unusual target groups. They know the market and understand client needs; when problems arise they give excellent advice and always find intelligent, flexible solutions. The whole team is superb and have the rare ability of making every single project a pleasure to work on, both wonderful recruiters and great communicators, they really are the best'. (Habie Schwarz)
'Criteria’s service is absolutely excellent. They have never let us down even on very tight deadlines, they always recruit to spec, communicate clearly, and we love their recruitment recommendations when providing quotes. It is really a pleasure to work with this agency.' (Ninth Seat).
'Criteria Fieldwork have been our favoured UK fieldwork partner for a number of years and they have been instrumental in the success of countless projects. Due to the closeness of our relationship and the trust we have in the Criteria team, they are consulted at proposal stage to guarantee feasibility and suitability. Criteria have continually proven their willingness to try non-traditional recruitment approaches with us, enabling us to strive to continue including lesser represented voices in research. Criteria consistently succeed in recruiting incredibly challenging samples and some of the least heard audiences, across a huge range of clients and issues. Our successful collaborations include, to name just a few, charity supporters, organisation members, people living with disability and/or long term health conditions and people experiencing destitution'.
