Maddison is a client-side Insight Executive at Smart Energy GB, with a degree in English Literature from King’s College London. Her work focuses on attitudinal tracking, brand, advertising and digital evaluation, and research into vulnerable consumers. She also has experience repositioning global brands to make them more aligned and future-facing.
Having volunteered with Raleigh in Nicaragua and studied in three continents, she is passionate about making a positive and measurable difference and sustainable impact on the world.
Adam has spent the past decade working across marketing, digital, social and research for companies from seed-funded start-ups through to huge multi-national corporations. His role now is brand-side market research, in particular looking after brand strategy insight and research.
His job is to ensure that the customer is at the heart of every decision made, and to arm stakeholders with the research and insight that’s going to have a positive impact on the business. Adam is a trained journalist, so experienced in storytelling through words, data or insight, and market research feels like the perfect place to bring it all together. Adam also runs the social listening and social intelligence programme for the Group, covering all three BT Group brands.
Bessie is a Research Manager at Walnut Unlimited and a true Quallie at heart! With a MSc in Social Research Methods, Bessie’s expertise lies with hard-to-reach and vulnerable audiences, specifically using participatory and inclusive approaches to ensure research is empowering and impactful as possible. Bessie particularly enjoys injecting creativity into her research and experimenting with innovative digital and social media methodologies. Alongside being a qualitative geek, Bessie is a blue belt MMA kickboxer and will be on her way to black belt soon…
LaShanda is Associate Director, Qualitative Research & Engagement Centre, Ipsos UK. As a researcher she has a keen interest in amplifying the voices of those who may not always be involved in research and incorporating the use of innovative methodologies.
She is active in the wider market and social research space as a member of the MRS &more leadership team, sitting on the working group for the MRS People & Talent programme within the new and returning talent workstream and on the committee for Social Researchers of Colour (SROC). She is active on conferences and panels within the industry, often advocating for young researchers. Recently she was recognised as a finalist for MRS young researcher of the year and a Significant Insights 30 under 30 honouree.
Carolina is a mixed methodology researcher at Kadence International and holds a degree in Marketing and Advertising from Edith Cowan University (Australia). She has lived in 3 countries – Sweden, Australia and the UK – and has a keen interest in identifying cultural nuances and stereotypes.
She loves adventure, and a highlight was when she climbed Mount Ngauruhoe in New Zealand, better known as Mount Doom from Lord of the Rings.
