Learn which text analytics methods are available today and when & how (not) to use them
Pulling the marketing curtains aside on AI powered text analytics:
In a first and most extensive part you will discover what kind of text analytics methods are available nowadays (sentiment analysis, topic assignment, anonymization, etc.), where they can be applied in MR, their level of maturity and which tools are available on the market. The theoretical part is followed by a group discussion, where participants are invited to share their experiences and opinions with techniques and tools.
The second part delivers some background on the different classes of AI software (Library, API, User facing), the effort required to implement or customize them as well as methods for integrating them into existing software landscapes. We also discuss how to evaluate the quality of the offerings and how to compare solutions.
In the final part you will be shown live how the entire analysis process looks like in Caplena, a SaaS application for feedback analysis that combines AI with human supervision. After the walkthrough, participants have the opportunity to dive into an analysis themselves, with a dataset of their choice (actual project or a toy-dataset).

Trainer biography
Maurice has a background in computer science with a focus on machine learning techniques for language and image processing, having published multiple scientific papers in these fields. Since co-founding Caplena in 2017, he has been actively involved in the market research and customer experience (CX) industry, dedicated to translating the latest AI advancements into practical tools that not only make researchers more efficient but also enhance their enjoyment of previously repetitive tasks. Under his leadership, Caplena has grown to serve over 150 customers, including major brands like IKEA, Lufthansa, and eBay.
As an expert in feedback analysis, Maurice also lectures in Master of Advanced Studies courses and frequently presents current best practices at prominent conferences such as IIEX Europe/NA, Quirks NY, and Succeet.
AI funding available
New funding for up to 50% of the cost of training employees in AI skills is now available.
